The mission of Ayurvedic Mamas is to restore whole-body health and strength of the new mother with emotional, nutritional, and hands-on support. Our work brings replenishment where depletion may have set in; balance for mother and baby through the fragile yet sacred period following birth. It is said that the way the first forty-two days are spent impacts the next forty-two years. This system shares the care that is critical through one of life's greatest transitions. Ayurvedic Mamas is formed by the joining of Ayurvedic wisdom and insight of midwifery. We're honored to welcome you here.
My name is Jenna Furnari, I am co-founder of Ayurvedic Mamas. As a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner specializing in Postnatal Care, my life's work is a commitment to bringing this ancient wisdom to a living practice for women around the world. For a better part of my life I have been devoted to the practice and study of Ayurveda, yoga and holistic means of living and functioning. From the very beginning of my Practitioner and Master of Arts studies at Mount Madonna College of Ayurveda, my attention has gone to working within the birth community. After going through the 4th trimester myself with my first born, it became clearer to me than ever that this work is more important than I ever imagined.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“From this experience I can see how nourishing this model of care truly is. I am inspired to continue offering it in different ways or packages. I love to think of myself as a teacher with this new information and hope to empower new parents to learn how to nurture themselves though Ayurveda.”
